About This Service

TN Technologies Ltd specialises in professional data recovery and computer forensics in the Cook Islands, a service most local IT providers don’t offer at this level.

During his IT career, our founder Timwateru recognised a critical gap in the Cook Islands — there was simply no professional data recovery service available locally. People were losing irreplaceable data with nowhere to turn. This became his dream — to bring this highly specialised skill set home to the Cook Islands. He took that journey, hit the road, and never looked back.

Timwateru completed advanced training in both Russia and the United States, studying directly under world-leading Computer Forensics and Data Recovery engineers. This international expertise, combined with professional-grade recovery equipment, allows us to tackle cases that other local suppliers simply cannot.

From businesses that have lost critical financial records, to individuals with irreplaceable personal data — we have successfully recovered data from clicking drives, water-damaged devices, and drives that won’t power up at all.

When other options have run out, TN Technologies Ltd can help.

What’s Included

Accidentally Deleted Files & Folders
Don’t panic and don’t touch the drive — bring it straight to us. We have successfully recovered deleted files, documents, photos and critical data in numerous cases across the Cook Islands. The longer you wait or attempt a fix yourself, the lower the chances of recovery. Leave it to the experts.

Clicking Hard Drive (Physical Damage)
A clicking drive is a critical emergency — it means the drive’s preamp or Head Stack Assembly (HSA) is damaged. This is one of the most complex and delicate data recovery procedures in the industry, requiring a professional clean room environment to safely open and operate on the drive. TN Technologies Ltd has successfully carried out clicking drive recovery cases for local businesses and customers across the Cook Islands. Do not power it on again — every second it runs causes more damage. Call us immediately.

Slow Responding or Undetected Drive
If your drive is slow to respond or no longer showing up on your computer, this is a serious warning sign — the drive media is weakening or the file system is corrupted. Do NOT run any recovery software thinking it will help — you are only causing further damage. The drive needs to be professionally imaged first before any recovery attempt. This is exactly where TN Technologies Ltd steps in.

RAID & NAS System Recovery
When a RAID array fails or a NAS system goes down, the consequences can be devastating — entire business data, financial records and critical files at risk. RAID recovery is one of the most complex forms of data recovery requiring specialist knowledge and tools. TN Technologies Ltd has the expertise to analyse, rebuild and recover failed RAID configurations and NAS systems — getting your business back up and running when it matters most.

A RECOVERY THAT BROUGHT TEARS & HOPE

A family visiting from Australia discovered that a hard drive containing over 13 years of irreplaceable family history, genealogy records, photos, and treasured memories had completely failed. Their grandfather had recently passed away, and his life’s memories and important family archives were stored on that drive.

After visiting several technology providers in Rarotonga, they were told the recovery was not possible locally. The drive had suffered a severe mechanical failure requiring advanced Level 3 clean room data recovery procedures — services that would normally require sending the drive overseas to Australia or New Zealand. That was when they found TN Technologies Ltd.

Using specialized clean room recovery procedures and professional data recovery tools, our team successfully recovered 100% of the family’s critical data — including photos, videos, genealogy records, and important documents.

What was once believed to be permanently lost was fully restored before the family returned home.

Today, TN Technologies Ltd proudly stands as the only provider in the Cook Islands offering professional clean room data recovery services locally.

“You made our day. Thank you for bringing our memories back.”
